Program Manager FTTH Deployment
We are seeking a Program Manager to help manage multiple Fiber-To -The-Home projects. This is a long-term contract position. WFH Remote with occasional meetings in the market. Prefer candidates with previous knowledge / experience in Ohio. We are looking for someone that is an Out of the Box thinker that knows how to get things done with best practices. Strong knowledge of OSP Engineering and Construction is required.
Role:
In his role you will create and track best practices, organize departments workflows and monitor progress, deliver reports, ensure compliance with all departments and generally drive an operators FTTH deployments.
You should have experience creating workflows (Visio), work breakdown structures, creating, editing and writing policies and procedures and be well-rounded with large telecommunications projects.
Create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of individuals and teams to ensure projects are meeting expectations and develop reporting to show KPI s.
You will be responsible for the matrix management of project teams and Project Managers across multiple groups and ensuring the projects are completed according to mutually agreed upon timeline policies and procedures and project tracking.
What will catch out eye:
Advanced knowledge of telecommunications/FTTx project management Construction and Engineering.
Advanced knowledge of FTTx builds, including regulatory and permitting process.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to direct the diagnosis of work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies.
Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues.
Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage and process multiple data streams.
Knowledge of construction/engineering services: Telco, power, FTTx.
Ability to communicate across multiple service groups to both internal and external customers.
