Sr. Construction / Project Manager - Fiber Construction
We are seeking a Sr. Construction / Project Manager with Fiber Construction experience for a Direct-Hire role in the Hartford to Danbury, CT area (Connecticut).
As the Construction / Project Manager - Fiber Construction you will be responsible for ensuring the deployment of fiber primarily in the Hartford to Danbury CT area. You ll be responsible for coordinating with contractors, public utilities, equipment vendors, and internal department. You ll be the single point of contact for all construction activity in the region. The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of Fiber /OSP Construction experience. A company truck is provided.
Role:
- Project Manage Fiber construction projects by driving internal teams and vendors.
- Assign work to contractors in line with construction project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Issue splicing work to vendors.
- Ensure construction vendors are adhering to schedule.
- Manage relationships with cable client.
- Verify and update project documentation.
- Track and update project progress, budget requests, purchase orders, project close out and internal service orders.
- Familiar with all facets of OSP management, including quoting, construction, and delivery.
- Ensure construction safety standards.

3-5 years of progressive experience with FTTH/CATV Construction.
Must be able to understand and read construction documents.
