Job Description
Are you an experienced Project or Construction Manager with a background in fiber or utilities construction and a knack for succeeding in fast-moving, high-growth environments? TekCom Resources is seeking an OSP Project Manager to oversee and ensure delivery on FTTX projects across the Midwest and Great Lakes region!
As OSP Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Complete project management of OSP/ Fiber Deployment projects, overseeing Construction and Engineering teams
Managing relationships with local stakeholders and jurisdictions
Assist in the planning and implementation of OSP and Fiber deployments, programs and projects ensuring they adhere to approved plans, budgets and schedules.
Coordinates resources to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Creates, track and reporting of project budgets
Build and develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, local authorities and internal teams
Facilitate client meetings and site visits as required
Procurement of equipment and materials related to the assigned projects.
Project Tracking and documentation.
Our client would love to see candidates with the following background:
5 years of experience overseeing fiber deployment projects.
Candidates with Project Management certification are highly desired!
Experience managing budgets and reporting budget progress and hurdles to management.
Advanced experience with MS office Suite; MS Excel, Visio, and Google Earth.
