Sr. OSP Inspector - QA/QC Lewes, DE, Frederick MD, Salisbury, MD area
We are seeking an OSP Inspector -QA/QC for a long-term contract role covering the Lewes, DE, Frederick, MD, Salisbury, MD area. Coverage: Annapolis, Maryland area and approx.An hour east & west).
Job Summary:
The Inspector will have the following job responsibilities:
Pre and post Construction of the poles as well as post construction quality control.
Inspect OSP Construction of a 3-year Fiber Build in the Lewes, DE, Frederick, MD, Salisbury, MD area area market. Verify the fiber build work that has been completed and capture the additional field work needed for completion. QA/QC work to verify the work was completed correctly in the field and communicate daily updates to the project management team.
Position oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual field work, fiber cable installation, grounding, and QA/QC monitoring. Most of the work is aerial with some underground.
You ll validate as-built and project closeout documentation to confirm any red-line changes have been incorporated into the final design and that all project completion requirements are met.
Mileage will be paid at federal rates. Most of the work is within an hour or two of the Lewes, DE, Frederick, MD, Salisbury, MD area
What will catch our eye:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the telecommunications industry experience in the construction field with specific focus on fiber optic network deployment (i.E. Fiber technician, inspector).
