OSP Field Construction Manager - FTTH - Frederick, MD
We are seeking three skilled OSP Field Construction Managers with very strong database/computer skills to assist our client s existing Fiber to the Home Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for Damage and Complaint Resolution, Meeting with municipal personnel, utility owners, locators, and railroads to address issues, Providing homeowners with project details. Providing Post-Construction Cleanup updates/resolution and Conduct inspections of completed or in-process projects. Basically you will be our clients Go to fix it and problem resolution person.
We are looking for someone in each region.
Each Field Project Manager will oversee one of our clients three regions.
Region 1: Southern PA, Lancaster and York Counties and State College PA area
Region 2: Frederick MD, Martinsburg WV, Lewes DE, Salisbury MD area
Region 3: Suffolk VA, Williamsburg VA, Ashland VA area
These are contract positions that will go well into 2025. You should be local to the local region as you will be required to make regular field visits to help resolve any issues needed. Milage is paid a Gov t rate.
Pay: $40-$43/hr. DoE plus mileage
Role:
Proficiency in working with Smartsheets, Oracle, Site Tracker, and Render or like databases is essential for this role. Candidates should have hands-on experience managing projects, tracking data, and analyzing metrics within these platforms to streamline workflows, ensure data accuracy, and enhance overall project efficiency.
Damage and Complaint Resolution: Address homeowner complaints, log issues, ensure a positive homeowner experience, and collaborate with construction personnel to resolve problems promptly and satisfactorily.
Coordination with Municipal and Utility Personnel: Meet with municipal personnel, utility owners, locators, and railroads to address reported issues and coordinate special projects such as road and railroad crossings.
Homeowner Communication: Provide homeowners with project details and updates.
Post-Construction Cleanup: Collaborate with PMs and contracted construction personnel to resolve cleanup items and close permits.
Inspections: Conduct additional inspections of completed or in-process projects, work with field technicians and PMs to ensure quality and address substandard practices.

Strong Computer/Database skills as you will be working in multiple databases.
Great customer service and problem resolution skills
Proven experience in construction management within the Fiber /CATV/ISP construction industry.
Strong communication skills, particularly in dealing with homeowners and municipal personnel.
Ability to perform frequent fieldwork and willingness to be local to the respective area.
Proficiency in with QA/QC coordinating and resolving issues in a timely manner.
