Job Description
We are currently recruiting for multiple GIS Fiber Design Technicians working on a cutting edge fiber network!
The ideal candidate will utilize Computer Aided Design and mapping systems to prepare (Fiber) design drawings for the project team as part of the large scale telecommunications Infrastructure build. The candidate should have previous experience utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) based mapping systems to prepare Fiber designs and must be capable of drafting clear, detailed, and complete drawings with accurate detail that incorporates design inputs, sketches, field notes.
Pay: $25-30/hr. DOE
The GIS Fiber Technician must have experience creating material lists and preparing material take-offs as needed. Previous experience utilizing Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) compliant Geographic Information System (GIS) Fiber Management and Project tools such as ArcGIS/FM, 3GISLive and/or NexusWorx Fiber Management software for managing all OSP design information is a huge plus but not required.
