Job Description: TekCom Resources is seeking an Aerial Lineman candidate to join our dynamic, fast-paced team. Ideally, this candidate is a driven individual looking for a career opportunity with high-growth potential.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for helping with the overhead installation and/or repair of fiber optic cable.
Responsible for daily safety and maintenance checks.
Responsible for upholding standard of quality.
Responsible for helping to set up job sites, traffic cones and signs.
Must have the ability to climb poles, utilizing gaffs, ladder and a bucket truck to perform work.
Responsible for running fiber blowing equipment.
Responsible for job site clean-up and restoration.
Follow all company safety, OSHA, and DOT policy
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience
CDL
Time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks
Familiarity with the 811 Call Before You Dig system and process
Proven experience in any overhead/underground construction About us
